Programs developed and utilized by the staff of Cobourg Day Care Inc., are designed to meet the needs of today’s families by providing care for children in an environment which is consistent, age appropriate, caring and full of positive learning experiences. Programs are reevaluated regularly to reflect changes within the Child Care and Early Years Act and ideology in Early Childhood Education.
Our qualified staff will present programs that enhance your child’s level of development while remembering that play is a child’s way of learning about the world he or she lives in, about themselves and those around them.
We inspire children’s curiosity, and natural ability to learn through play. We spend our days investigating learning centres and activities designed to encourage writing, creative art, sensory, discovery, and dramatic play. We build positive relationships. Each child will have primary care who will support and observe successes. All programs are posted on the Parent Bulletin Board outside of each classroom for parents to view at all times.
*Scheduled care is available but not guaranteed. Full time and existing families get first priority.
